The Best Black-Owned Brunch Spots in Atlanta
By Tailor Payton·June 2026·7 min read
If there's one thing your homegirl takes seriously, it's brunch. Atlanta is a brunch city, and the Black-owned spots are leading the way with food and vibes you can't get anywhere else. Here are the ones I send everyone to.
1. The bottomless mimosa champions
Some places do brunch. Others turn it into a whole event. These are the spots where the mimosas keep flowing, the DJ is actually good, and you'll end up staying three hours longer than you planned. Come hungry and clear your afternoon.
2. Where the food is the main event
Not every brunch needs a party. Sometimes you just want the fluffiest pancakes, perfectly crispy chicken and a server who treats you like family. These spots keep it about the plate, and the plate delivers every single time.
3. The hidden gems locals guard
These are the ones I almost didn't want to share. Tucked away, no two-hour wait, and the kind of food that makes you text everybody you know. Go early, tip well, and keep it between us.
My homegirl tips
- Make a reservation. The good spots fill up fast, especially on Sundays.
- Ask about the brunch cutoff time so you don't miss the menu.
- Follow them on Instagram for pop-up brunches and specials.
That's the list, but it's always growing. Save this page, because I update it as I find new spots. And if you've got one I need to try, you know where to find me.
